EMPOWERING CHRISTIAN FAITH

For generations, the Maasai people have lived by traditions that have often placed women in subservient roles—focused on child-rearing, managing the household, and supporting the male-dominated structures of society.

With the introduction of Christian faith, especially through local churches and outreach programs, young girls and women are beginning to see a new path forward, one that emphasises equality, dignity, and empowerment.

The teachings of Christianity offer young women a vision of themselves as valuable and capable, deserving of education, leadership roles, and the ability to make their own choices.

We work with local communities to emphasise love, respect, and kindness and to create a space for women to advocate for their health, education, well-being, and rights within their communities.
